Hello! In 2020-2021 we worked together to launch a series of surveys about household food sourcing strategies, food security, nutrition, and health among households in Southeast Ohio during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are planning a series of events throughout Athens County to share key findings and get community insight on how the data can be used to inform local food system efforts in this region.
Here is a report of our preliminary findings:
Please note: All events will start with a very brief presentation of key findings followed by small group and full group discussion of how the findings can inform further community food security efforts in the region. Key findings will be the same across events, but discussion will necessarily differ based on the insights of those attending.
